Transmon’s IMHX stand in Hall 20 will focus on themes that are significant to materials handling operations, including efficiency, visibility and speed control.  Transmon provides solutions to a variety of operations, from everyday handling and transportation applications to more specialist applications such as cold store and high racking.  Demonstrating the diversity of Transmon solutions at IMHX, will be some of the company’s most recent successful products, the Tyre Savure, Vision Savure and Zone Speed Savure.  Transmon will also be exhibiting samples of its entire Savure range, including fleet management systems.

Paul Sercombe of Transmon says "At IMHX, Our specialists will offer simple advice about reducing operational costs, heightening safety and enhancing efficiency".

Transmon’s aptly named Tyre Savure can reduce tyre wear by up to 400%, by preventing the driver from attempting sudden direction change while the truck is in motion or at high engine rpm.  Easily fitted to any truck in two hours, and adjustable to suit any application, this system helps to significantly reduce excess expenditure and encourages proper driving practices, to enhance efficiency.

Vision Savure is a camera and monitor system that can be easily fitted to any forklift truck and is not only suitable for specialist applications such as cold store, but is also becoming increasingly popular in standard operation.  The camera can be located in various positions, depending on the application, and is suitable for indoor and outdoor operations.  Images are sent to a flat screen monitor, located in an unobtrusive position within the cab, which allows the operator to easily make adjustments to his or her lifting or reversing directions, enhancing safety and efficiency.  It also helps to reduce stock, racking and truck damage.

To control forklift speeds, Transmon supplies a variety of solutions including the Zone Speed Savure for operations with various speed limits across one site. On entering a restricted zone, marked with a hard wired proximity transmitter, the speed limiter is automatically activated and as it leaves the area, the driver has the option of selecting normal speed mode.  These systems help operations adhere to safety regulations without compromising productivity levels if top speeds are required in unrestricted areas.

Leicester based Transmon Engineering designs, manufactures and installs integrated modular systems, predominantly within the materials handling industry, helping to deliver low cost, reduced carbon emissions, heightened safety and increased efficiency to operations everywhere.  Transmon systems can be fitted to most trucks, bringing a number of benefits to any operation.
